BSU Conducts Orientation on F2F Class Resumption

The Benguet State University, through the Office of the Vice President for Academic Affairs, conducted a virtual orientation and consultation for faculty member, staff, students, and parents anent the safe resumption of limited face-to-face classes as guided by: CHED-DOH JMC 2021- 004; DOH AO 2021-0043; and CHED memo 4, Series of 2020.

University President Felipe Salaing Comila, in his opening remarks, took the opportunity to welcome and thank the participants for attending the orientation. In his inspirational message, he explained the University’s commitment to continuously develop students ‘talents to be the resources of our country. “To continue flourishing these talents, we have to go with the challenges we face, and that’s why the University is proposing and coming up with the direction, from the leadership of the Commission on Higher Education, that BSU will implement the limited faceto-face classes,” said Dr. Comila.

BSU ensures that everyone who will take part in this endeavor will be safe. Hence, Vice-President for Academic Affairs Dr. Imelda O. Degay, University Health Services Director Dr. Florence V. Poltic, Office of Student Services Director Ramon C. Fiangaan, Jr., and Dean of the College of Nursing Vicente G. Panagan, Jr., discussed the general guidelines and BSU’s plans and preparations to ensure the safe resumption of limited face-to-face classes in the University.
