As part of the series of activities for the 2022 National Women’s Month celebration, Benguet State University  through the Gender and Development Office conducted a seminar on  Writing Research with Gender Lens. This was held on March 14, 2022 at the CTE function hall. 

The activity aims to capacitate the participants particularly students to formulate research titles with a gender lens, review the basics of formulating research titles and appreciate the importance of researching with a gender lens. Dr. Ruth S. Batani, CORCAARRD Consortium Director served as the resource speaker. She shared how to integrate gender lens in research that will help direct the participants to come up with complete research proposals.

BSU President Felipe Salaing Comila graced the event by giving his inspirational message. He also thanked the GAD TWG for conducting the activity and the participants for joining face to face and online. Meanwhile, Dr. Estrellita M. Daclan, GAD Director thanked everyone who had put in the effort to make the activity a success. //MHDelRosario
