Faculty and staff from Kolehiyo ng Lungsod ng Dasmarinas (KLD) visited Benguet State University (BSU) to learn from the best practices of College of Nursing (CN) on July 19, 2024. This visit aimed to identify the most effective standards and practices that KLD can implement to provide their students with the best possible nursing education.

KLD recently launched its Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program. To ensure its success, KLD faculty and staff engaged in a productive discussion with BSU's College of Nursing Dean, Vicente G. Panagan, Jr., and Faculty Member Keverne Jhay P. Colas. The discussion covered a wide range of topics, including enrollment procedures, challenges faced by the program, class sectioning strategies, instructional manuals, funding allocation, international student admissions, general admission procedures, uniform policies, student retention policies, grading systems, and more.

Following the discussion, the visitors observed the CN’s various laboratories. The visit concluded with a courtesy call to BSU President Felipe Salaing Comila.//BTayaban
