BSU Alumna shares success story

Jayca Siddayao finished BS Agribusiness (2004-2008), MS in Human Resource Development/HR Management (2009-2011) and Professional Education (2012-2013) at BSU. She was a TOSP-CAR and Outstanding Entrepreneurship Student of the Philippines awardee in 2008. Recently, she graduated with honors from the University of Auckland in New Zealand with the degree Master in International Business on full scholarship. This is her story.


     Shamag, an Ibaloi term that means news, is the official publication of Benguet State University. It functions as the University's mouthpiece for its accomplishments and is likewise a communication tool among BSU constituents. It started as the MSAC Newsletter in the 1970s to meet one of the requirements of then, the Department of Education, for a college to be elevated into a university. Hence, Shamag came out as the University newsletter in 1996.
