BSU registers 19 Environmental Planners, studies possible program offering

Nineteen Benguet State University (BSU) alumni and faculty successfully passed the Environmental Planner Licensure Examination on June 6-7, 2018 with a 46.15% overall performance surpassing the national passing rate of 39.99%.

     Shamag, an Ibaloi term that means news, is the official publication of Benguet State University. It functions as the University's mouthpiece for its accomplishments and is likewise a communication tool among BSU constituents. It started as the MSAC Newsletter in the 1970s to meet one of the requirements of then, the Department of Education, for a college to be elevated into a university. Hence, Shamag came out as the University newsletter in 1996.

SUCs share best practices on ESGP-PA management

Representatives of State Universities and Colleges (SUCs) from Regions I, II, III and CAR gathered on April 27, 2017 at the CTE Function Hall to share best practices in managing the Expanded Students’ Grants-In-Aid Program for Poverty Alleviation (ESGP-PA) scholarship in their respective schools.
