BACHELOR OF SCIENCE IN PSYCHOLOGY
PROGRAM OBJECTIVES:
1. Demonstrate the capability to discuss and analyze the major theories and concepts in psychology (knowledge in psychology);
2. Demonstrate and apply the methods of psychological inquiry in building knowledge on local culture and context (psychological research);
3. Demonstrate and apply psychological theories and methods in professional and personal setting (application of psychology);
4. Demonstrate capability for self-reflection and independent learning in graduate education or in a professional context (independent learning);
5. Demonstrate professional and ethical behaviors in research and practice in psychology (ethics);
6. Demonstrate harmonious interpersonal relationship with colleagues, clients and others (interpersonal skills) in diverse cultural setting; and
7. Demonstrate the ability to conduct psychological assessments and evaluation (psychological assessment).

BACHELOR OF ARTS IN HISTORY
PROGRAM OBJECTIVES:
1. Appreciate Filipino historical and cultural heritage by engaging in the preservation, enrichment, and advocacy of such heritage;
2. Demonstrate an understanding of and apply historical and social science concepts and theories to the analysis of social issues;
3. Design, execute, and produce historical and social researches using appropriate approaches and methods;
4. Participate in the generation of new knowledge or in research and projects that support national, regional, and local development plans;
5. Demonstrate a broader knowledge of Asian and World history;
6. Demonstrate a deeper understanding of local and ethnic Philippine history; and,
7. Critically evaluate sources, data, and interpretations of history.

MASTER OF ARTS IN SOCIAL STUDIES
PROGRAM OBJECTIVES:
1. Empower the learners to critically understand the local, national and world situations in a holistic framework;
2. Help the students understand their role in the fabric of social events, relationships, system and structures;
3. Develop an empowering pedagogy by exposing the students to a wide range of perspectives and paradigms and encourage participatory and active learning which involves both heart and mind;
4. Emphasize and promote concern and commitment in the promotion, preservation and development of national identity and heritage.
