700 runners joins BSU’s Centennial Fun Run

The Centennial Fun Run held on October 28, 2016 with the theme, “Gilas at Lakas, Pabaon ng Dantaong Lumipas” was participated by a jampacked crowd of 700 runners.

In a Facebook post, BSU Government Employees Association President, Richard H. Kinnud acknowledged all the sectors that cooperated with each other to manage the event.

The post read, “BSUGEA, which was tasked to spearhead the event, would like to thank everyone who helped in the management of the event. Thank you very much to our university president Feliciano G. Calora Jr. for his full support to the event; to university officials, employees, students, alumni, and the public who participated by promoting the event, registered and came to run; to the La Trinidad Municipal Police especially Police Community Precinct 2 who really came to serve and protect; to the university guards, NSTP/ROTC and IHK students, the dormitorians and employees from various sectors of the university who helped in the preparations and marshalling of the event; to the NARS and Red Cross Youth members, and the personnel of the Medical Clinic who provided medical services; to the Finance Management Office and Cashiering Office personnel for becoming the instant secretariat; the personnel assigned at the PACD from October 24-27 who helped in the registration of participants; and to everyone who helped in the staging of the event. Sala-salamat! Let's Keep Running!”

Finisher certificates and centennial finisher shirts were given to the first 50 finishers under the 1k category, the first 75 finishers under the 3k category and first 125 finishers of the 5k category.//
