Benguet State University listed an 84. 21% passing rate in the recent Nutrition-Dietitian Board Examination (NDBE) held on August 20 and 21 2017. This is higher than the national passing rate of 71. 26 %.

There were 31 out of 33 first timers and one of five repeaters who passed the examination.

Marie Anne R. Rulla, Chairperson of the Department of Human Nutrition invite those who did not pass may attend the Competency Appraisal, a review of board courses for fourth years Bachelor of Science in Nutrition Dietitics.

“My message to the passers is that , It’s not the end rather it’s just the start, they’ll start their practice for there is always a difference in school and in work place because they will be dealing with their patients and bosses,” said Rulla.

Benguet State University is the only school offering BS in Nutrition and Dietetics in the Cordillera.
