BSU grads are topnotchers in Guidance Licensure Exam

The College of Teacher Education listed a 61.28% passing rate at the Guidance Counseling Licensure Exam held this August. The university performed higher (80%) than the national passing rate of 61.26%.

The passers who took their Master of Arts in Guidance in the University are Leny O. Estacio, Hylene S. Tayaban, Raiza B. Canillas and Josephine A. Payumo. Estacio ranked 6th while Tayaban ranked 9th out of 390 examinees.

Dominador S. Garin, Dean of the College of Teacher Education commented that the students’ exposure to real work aided them in the examination along with the theories taught to them.
