Kudos to the BSU’s new professional teachers and librarians

Another batch of examinees from the College of Teacher Education has successfully surpassed the national passing rates for this year’s Licensure Examination for Teachers held last September 29, 2013. The result was released last November 22, 2013.

The Bachelor of Elementary Education examinees listed a passing rate of 82.17% for first timers and 16.28% for re-takers adding up to an institutional passing rate of 68.00% surpassing the national passing rate of 31.18%.

Moreover, the Bachelor of Secondary Education graduates listed a passing rate of 73.76% for first timers and 32.89% for re-takers adding up to an institutional passing rate of 64.60% surpassing the national passing rate of 39.75%.

Meanwhile, the results of the Librarian Licensure Examination given by the Board for Librarians held on November 3 & 4, 2013 were released on November 6, 2013. Surpassing the national passing rate, the proud BSU listed a passing rate of 54.76% for first timers and 50.00% for repeaters adding up to an institutional passing rate of 54.17%.
