BSU’s climate change research hopes to promote climate resilient technologies

Windbreakers and small farm water reservois are two technologies that the research titled, “Participatory and Community-Based Climate Change Adaptation Strategies in Benguet Province” is promoting. Beyond that, the research also aims to increase the Benguet people’s awareness to climate change and their vulnerability to its effects.

Kudos to the BSU’s new professional teachers and librarians

Another batch of examinees from the College of Teacher Education has successfully surpassed the national passing rates for this year’s Licensure Examination for Teachers held last September 29, 2013. The result was released last November 22, 2013.

The Bachelor of Elementary Education examinees listed a passing rate of 82.17% for first timers and 16.28% for re-takers adding up to an institutional passing rate of 68.00% surpassing the national passing rate of 31.18%.

The BSU’s Non-Teaching Association (BSUNTA) and Faculty Club (FC) for the first time held a joint general assembly on November 19, 2013 at the BSU Gymnasium.
