Personnel from the Civilian Human Resource office of the Philippine Military Academy (PMA), Baguio City, conducted a benchmarking activity at Benguet State University.
The delegation was led by MAJ Charming Jil L. Agayso and Civilian Human Resource Chief, Honeylet L. Manalang. They were with staff members Joydee P. Tayaban, Shirley L. De Vera, Marilyn D. Balo, Angielyn G. Vinuya, and Rica Jym S. Lim.
The group was welcomed by Supervising Administrative Officer of the BSU Human Resource Management Office, Raymundo H. Pawid Jr. and Elizabeth P. Lascano, a committee member on the DBM-CHED Joint Circular No. 3, Series of 2022, which establishes guidelines for the reclassification of faculty positions in state universities and colleges (SUCs) in the Philippines.
The discussion focused on merit selection, assessment and evaluation processes, and regulations on recruitment and promotion of faculty.
BSU accommodates benchmarking activities and field trips from schools, Local Government Units, National Line Agencies, and Non-Government Organizations with the intent to promote collaboration in various areas that may lead to multi-stakeholder partnerships in support of #SDG17.//DPaydowan
