Four staff members from the Divine Word College of Vigan’s (DWCV) Library visited Benguet State University (BSU) Library on July 10, 2025 for a benchmarking activity. The group, led by Chief Librarian Cynthia D. Gasingan, aimed to learn about BSU’s Library practices, and innovative services to enhance DWCV’s operations and services.

The visitors were welcomed by Joven D. Dongga-as, Noel W. Cabfilan, and Carl Bryan W. Sibayan. During the visit, a discussion took place where several questions regarding library systems, management practices, technologies, and user services were answered.

Following the discussion, the group toured the library and observed its various sections as well as the different systems used. BSU accommodates benchmarking activities and field trips from schools, Local Government Units, National Line Agencies, and Non-Government Organizations with the intent to promote collaboration in various areas that may lead to multi-stakeholder partnerships in support of #SDG17.//BTayaban
