Instructors, staff members, and officials from the Polytechnic College of Botolan (PCB) visited Benguet State University to benchmark best practices in teacher education, information technology, students services, and agricultural and biosystems engineering on January 30, 2025.

The group, led by PCB President Mary Grace S. Manangan, were welcomed by staff members from the College of Teacher Education headed by Dean Divina M. Yango; staff members from the Office of Students Services (OSS) headed by Director Erlyn Honeylette C. Marquez; Information Technology Chairperson Maria Teresa Cachero; and Agricultural and Biosystems Engineering Chairperson Erickson N. Dominguez.

The exchange of ideas focused on various processes of the offices and colleges. Topics included OSS programs, retention policies, qualifications for new students, research courses, on-the-job training, and the implementation of facilities and requirements for the Agricultural and Biosystems Engineering program.

The visit ended with a tour of the College of Information Sciences, College of Engineering, OSS, University Library, Chemistry Laboratory, and Physics Equipment Room.//BTayaban
