In celebration of the Farmers and Fisherfolk Month this May, participants of a seminar hosted by the Agricultural Training Institute -Regional Training Center – Cordillera Administrative Region visited Benguet State University on May 15, 2025. The visit was part of ATI’s seminar titled “Agri-kids: Cultivating Young Minds,” which aimed to help children understand and appreciate farming and agriculture.
The children along with their parents visited various BSU projects. These projects included the MakiBACA, piggery, and sheep and goat. The children also received a brief introduction about the animals from the projects’ in-charge. BSU accommodates benchmarking activities and field trips from schools, Local Government Units, National Line Agencies, and Non-Government Organizations with the intent to promote collaboration in various areas that may lead to multi-stakeholder partnerships in support of #SDG17.//BTayaban
