Benguet State University (BSU), represented by its President Kenneth A. Laruan, and Agricultural Training Institute (ATI), represented by its Director Remelyn R. Recoter, have formally agreed to partner in the conduct of an extension activity titled, “Training of Trainers on Postharvest Management of Perishable Horticultural Crops.” This initiative would enhance knowledge of High Value Crops Development Program (HVCDP) Coordinators from ATI-Regional Training Center and Department of Agriculture-Regional Field Offices (DA-RFOs). The training is funded by the ATI and scheduled for April 21-May 20, 2025.

Laruan signed the Memorandum of Agreement between BSU and ATI on March 13, 2025 at the Office of the President. This was witnessed by Director Jemma Rose M. Kilakil and Darwin Basquial from the BSU Horticulture Research and Training Institute.
