Faculty and staff members from Nueva Ecija University of Science and Technology (NEUST) visited Benguet State University (BSU) on May 28, 2025, for a benchmarking activity. The visitors aimed to learn the BSU’s best practices in the implementation of its National Service Training Program (NSTP) to enhance the development and delivery of NEUST’s NSTP.

The group was welcomed by BSU President Kenneth A. Laruan, NSTP Director Bryant O. Botengan, and NSTP staff member Ashley Marquez. Following the introductions, a discussion was held where BSU personnel shared practices in the implementation of the NSTP.

The topics included student engagement, enrollment, and teaching strategies. After the discussion, the visitors were toured to the Marketing Center. BSU accommodates benchmarking activities and field trips from schools, Local Government Units, National Line Agencies, and Non-Government Organizations with the intent to promote collaboration in various areas that may lead to multi-stakeholder partnerships in support of #SDG17.//BTayaban
