BSU’s VP for Academic Affairs, Janet P. Pablo represented the Philippines to the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Convention together with Divina Amalin of the De La Salle University (DLSU) Institute of Biological Control. The convention was held on September 15-16, 2025 at the ICC Tainan in Taiwan.

Amalin and Pablo delivered a talk under the session on AIoT Technologies for Pest and Disease Management in Rural Areas.
