Julie M. Binaldo-Velasco of the College of Public Administration and Governance (CPAG) will receive the Most Outstanding Peer Reviewer Award from the Educational Research Center Inc. (ETCOR) for her “exemplary performance and contribution in the improvement of the society and the world” on May 31, 2025.

The award recognizes Binaldo-Velasco’s work as a peer reviewer for the International Journal of Open-access, Interdisciplinary & New Educational Discoveries of ETCOR (iJOINED ETCOR) highlighting the significant role of peer reviewers in maintaining the quality and integrity of academic publications.

She is also among the 40 out of over 100 individuals selected to receive the Luminary Excellence in Research and Education Award (LEERA) 2025 by the Lumina Foundation for Integral Human Development.
