As part of the National Women’s Month Celebration and in line with the Sustainable Development Goals, the Benguet State University (BSU) College of Forestry, in partnership with the Gender and Development Office, organized an activity called “Forest Bathing: A Work Break for the Mind and Soul” at the BSU Forest Reservation, Longlong, La Trinidad, Benguet held on March 27, 2025.
According to the BSU-GAD Office, the activity aimed to provide quality work break to all women workforce in the university and to promote good health and wellbeing while appreciating the importance of the remaining forest patches in the locality.
Attended by BSU employees and students, the activity began with the orientation program in front of the BSU Administration Building. This was followed by an eco-walk and tree-hugging along the Forest Reservation trail and a meditation at the Alapo Adventure Camp facilitated by Raymundo H. Pawid Jr. of the Human Resource Management Office.//EBawayan
