Isabela State University (ISU) staff members visited Benguet State University (BSU) on October 24, 2025, to strengthen the institution’s internationalization and external linkages. The visit, led by ISU’s University Director for Public Relations, External Linkages, and International Affairs Joan T. Ruiz, focused on learning the practices of BSU’s International Relations Office (IRO).

The ISU team was welcomed by BSU-IRO staff members headed by Director Rex John G. Bawang. Also present was College of Public Administration and Governance Dean Gretchen Gaye C. Ablaza.

Discussions centered on BSU’s practices in accreditation, internationalization strategies, research, and management of foreign students. ISU’s VP for Planning and Development, Isagani P. Angeles, Jr., also attended the discussion. BSU accommodates benchmarking activities and field trips from schools, Local Government Units, National Line Agencies, and Non-Government Organizations with the intent to promote collaboration in various areas that may lead to multi-stakeholder partnerships in support of #SDG17.//BTayaban
