The Benguet State University, through the Institute of Highland Farming Systems and Agroforestry (IHFSA), and Yim Coffee Laboratory conducted a consultation meeting at the Research and Extension Building.

The consultation aimed to discuss the University’s coffee-related training programs and explore opportunities for collaboration. During the meeting, Mr. James Yim, Founder of Yim Coffee, presented their proposed partnership, which includes student internships, community extension, and research activities.

Consequently, a tentative schedule for a site assessment and training program was set for October 2026 in support of the sustainable development of the coffee industry.
