Delegates from various organizations from Mabalacat, Pampanga arrived at Benguet State University for a Lakbay Aral.

These organizations include the City Agriculture Office, Holy Angel University, Ortelanung Calampang Agriculture Cooperative, the Sitio Malupa Core Group, and Women’s Association of Mabalacat City.

The Lakbay Aral focused on upland crops production techniques to help increase productivity and revenue. The group visited the Northern Philippine Root Crops Research and Training Center (NPRCRTC). Alma Santiago of NPRCRTC introduced the various root crops being produced by the center and led the group to the crop facilities. The visit concluded at the BSU Marketing Center.

BSU accommodates benchmarking activities and field trips from schools, Local Government Units, National Line Agencies, and Non-Government Organizations with the intent to promote collaboration in various areas that may lead to multi-stakeholder partnerships in support of #SDG17.//
