As part of their on-going  Farmers Field School (FFS), farmers from the  Malasiqui Municipal Agriculture Office conducted a Lakbay – Aral at Benguet State University

The visit focused on organic farming, particularly on organic vegetable production, composting and organic fertilizer preparation, and natural pest management.This aims to broaden their knowledge beyond what they have learned throughout the course of their FFS.

Director Gennie B. Soyon of the Cordillera Organic Agriculture Research & Development Center welcomed the group and led the tour around the organic farm. BSU accommodates benchmarking activities and field trips from schools, Local Government Units, National Line Agencies, and Non-Government Organizations with the intent to promote collaboration in various areas that may lead to multi-stakeholder partnerships in support of #SDG17.//DPaydowan
