FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Main:
- Acts as focal office for all BSU quality assurance concerns
- Facilitates BSU adherence to quality standards, upon instructions of, and through, the Office of the BSU President.
Specific:
* Coordinates with offices within, and outside of BSU, regarding quality assurance;
* Facilitates the conduct of quality assurance activities;
* Warehouses data and documents relating to quality assurance; and
* Keeps posted of quality assurance standards and activities (national and international)

SCOPE, shall cover but is not limited to the following

- ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management System (QMS) certification, and other applicable ISO certification
- International accreditation and initiatives, such as AIMS (ASEAN International Mobility for Students) and UMAP (University Mobility in Asia and the Pacific)
- QS (Quacquarelli Symonds) Stars Rating System, Times Hingher Education (THE) Impact Rankings, World’s Universities with Real Impact (WURI) Rankin
NATIONAL:
- AACCUP (Association of Accredited Chartered Colleges and Universities of the Philippines, Inc.) accreditation — both program and institutional
- CHED Institutional Sustainability Assessment (ISA)
