In their continued effort to strengthen Gender and Development (GAD) initiatives, Kalinga State University GAD Director Rhonda Vail G. Leyaley visited Benguet State University (BSU) to learn of the institution’s best practices in gender and development.
BSU GAD Director Jude L. Tayaben, along with Technical Working Group members Estrellita M. Daclan and Gigy G. Banes, welcomed Leyaley. The discussions focused on the GAD Focal Point System, strategies in the implementation of programs, activities, and projects, and future collaboration between the two universities.
Following the discussion, Leyaley expressed her gratitude for the warm welcome and productive discussion. BSU accommodates benchmarking activities and field trips from schools, Local Government Units, National Line Agencies, and Non-Government Organizations with the intent to promote collaboration in various areas that may lead to multi-stakeholder partnerships in support of #SDG17.
