On Friday, January 25, 2025, the BSU Bokod Campus- College of Education (CED) held its inaugural Pinning and Send-off Ceremonies for Teacher Interns in the Bachelor of Technology and Livelihood Education, Bachelor of Technical-Vocational Teacher Education, Bachelor of Elementary Education, and Bachelor of Culture and Arts in Education programs. The event, themed โNurturing the Seeds of Wisdom for a Sustainable Future,โ celebrated their journey as they prepare to make a positive impact in their communities.
Dr. Chester B. Esnara, the Campus Administrator, highlighted in her message the vital role of educators in shaping future generations. The ceremony included key attendees such as Ms. Williana S. Bato, Head of the TVLE Department; Mrs. Cherry S. Tolano, Head of the Academic Department; and their advisor, Mrs. Yolly O. Sarapao, along with other faculty and staff.
The event included a candle lighting ceremony, serenaded by Ms. Marissa W. Dumalti, BCAE Instructor, symbolizing the commitment of the practice teachers to their future roles. The ceremony concluded with responses from representatives of each program, who expressed gratitude for the support received throughout their educational journey and reaffirmed their dedication to making a positive impact in their communities.
This significant event marks an important step for these aspiring educators preparing to embark on their teaching internships.
