Delegates from various campuses of the Central Bicol State University of Agriculture visited Benguet State University for a benchmarking activity.
The visit aimed to gather best practices in quality assurance systems, including assessment or certification preparations and lessons learned from implementation.
Led by CBSUA VP for Academic Affairs (VPAA) Melinda Parro-Pan, the group began with a courtesy call to University President Kenneth A. Laruan and BSU VPAA Janet P.Pablo.
The team then proceeded to the RDC Hall where they were welcomed by Office for Quality Assurance and Accreditation (OQAA) Director Joanna I. Alafag and staff. Joining the activity were Human Resource Development Office Chief, Maricris P. Lad-ey – Neyney, Human Resource Management Office Supervising Administrative Officer Raymundo H. Pawid Jr., and Mari Cris P. Maggod from the Pollution Control Office.
The meeting concluded with a productive knowledge-sharing discussion between the two state universities.
BSU accommodates benchmarking activities and field trips from schools, Local Government Units, National Line Agencies, and Non-Government Organizations with the intent to promote collaboration in various areas that may lead to multi-stakeholder partnerships in support of #SDG17.//DPaydowan
