The Benguet State University , through the Institute of Highland Farming Systems and Agroforestry participated in the 3rd Itogon Farmers and Fisherfolks Month and SI-JUP Festival. held on May 29, 2026. As part of the event, the Institute served as evaluators, together with Robert Kiswa, Cafe Kzar and Angelica Sebastion, DTI Baguio-Benguet during the coffee cupping competition, assessing nine coffee entries submitted by various barangays of Itogon. The activity highlighted the locally produced commodities including coffee and supported efforts to strengthen the Municipality’s agriculture and agribusiness sectors through product quality and sustainability.
