Delegates from Laguna State Polytechnic University (LSPU) visited Benguet State University for a benchmarking activity, aimed at strengthening their university’s Income-Generating Projects operations. The visit also aims to enhance LSPU’s income-generation initiatives through the adoption of effective and sustainable practices from other higher education.

BSU VP for Business Affairs Josel M. Florentin together with the different project managers, Business Affairs staff and Marketing staff welcomed the delegation. Marie Ammabelle I. Cabildo of the LSPU-Siniloan Campus introduced their group and outlined the purpose of their visit.

The discussion focused on IGP best practices, operational procedures, financial systems, and institutional guidelines. The visit concluded with a tour of the university’s canteen, bakery, food processing center, and marketing center.

BSU accommodates benchmarking activities and field trips from schools, Local Government Units, National Line Agencies, and Non-Government Organizations with the intent to promote collaboration in various areas that may lead to multi-stakeholder partnerships in support of #SDG17.//DPaydowan
