The Randy O. Valerio (ROV) Integrated Farm representatives conducted a meaningful and productive meeting with Benguet State University President Kenneth A. Laruan. Also present were faculty members from the College of Agriculture – Department of Animal Science, led by Chairperson Leo S. Laruan, together with Mary Arnel Garcia and Madeline S. Kingan.

Located in Sitio Gugu, San Vicente, Bacolor, Pampanga, Philippines, the ROV Integrated Farm is actively engaged in dairy goat production and serves as a Host Training Establishment (HTE) for apprenticeship of the Bachelor of Agriculture major in Animal Science program.

The meeting focused on strengthening institutional collaboration between the university and the ROV Integrated Farm, particularly in expanding opportunities for students under the apprenticeship program, as well as exploring potential partnerships in research and extension. This collaboration aims not only to enhance experiential learning for students but also to contribute to the growth, innovation, and sustainability of the dairy goat industry through shared expertise and resources.

This partnership underscores a shared commitment to academic excellence, community development, and sustainable agricultural practices, empowering students to become competent, responsible, and service-oriented professionals in the field of animal science. // ✍️ 📸 Dept. of Ansci
