The University of Rizal System (URS) visited Benguet State University (BSU) to learn about the University’s financial operations and policies on November 15, 2024. Their aim was to gain insights to help improve and enhance the delivery of financial services at URS.

The discussions were held at the Information Communication and Technology (ICT) Hall where Ruth D. Lalio and Debbie Ann P. Paza from the Compensation Benefits and Other Obligations (CBOO) Office shared their practices on BSU’s payroll system.

Next, University Accountant Imelda B. Galinato shared her expertise on the use of the Electronic New Government Accounting System (eNGAS). She also opined on the possible challenges to be encountered while using the system.

The use of the eBudget system was also discussed by Supervising Administrative Officer (SAO) Estrellita M. Daclan and Imelda A. Fang-asan of the BSU Budget Office.

The visit ended with a tour of the offices under the Finance Division.//BTayaban
