Benguet State University (BSU) is celebrating the exceptional performance of the College of Forestry (CF) in the recent Forester Licensure Examination, which saw 67 new foresters join the professional ranks.
The CF recorded an institutional passing rate of 85.90%, significantly outperforming the national passing rate of 71.62%. This outstanding achievement highlights BSU’s commitment to academic excellence and its role in producing highly competent professionals for the forestry sector.
“This achievement reflects the college’s dedication to producing highly competent and skilled forestry professionals,” states a post by the BSU Office of the VP for Academic Affairs. “We proudly congratulate all the new foresters and the faculty who guided them toward this impressive accomplishment!”
The 67 new foresters are expected to play a critical role in the conservation, management, and sustainable development of the country’s natural resources.
