A delegation from Tarlac Agricultural University – College of Agriculture and Forestry led by Dean Sinamar E. Estudillo, visited Benguet State University (BSU) for a benchmarking activity. The activity, held on October 17, 2025, aimed to gain insights into best practices, innovative teaching-learning strategies, and program implementation mechanisms related to Bachelor of Science in Agriculture, Forestry, and Food Technology.

After a short courtesy call to BSU President Kenneth A. Laruan, the delegation met with BSU representatives including College of Forestry Dean Nova D. Doyog, College of Agriculture Dean Constantino T. Sudaypan, and Department of Food Technology Chairperson Kathlyn P. Aragon.

The discussion covered topics on course audits, capacity building and extension activities, courses offered, and the retention and admission policies of each colleges. The universities also discussed a possible partnership on their Bambusetum projects. BSU accommodates benchmarking activities and field trips from schools, Local Government Units, National Line Agencies, and Non-Government Organizations with the intent to promote collaboration in various areas that may lead to multi-stakeholder partnerships in support of #SDG17.//DPaydowan
