Benguet State University (BSU) broke ground for the College of Medicine Complex on September 25, 2023, at BSU Compound, Cabanao, La Trinidad, Benguet.

BSU's venture into creating a College of Medicine makes it the first State University and College (SUC) in the Cordillera Administrative Region to embark on this noble journey.

The desire to establish a college of medicine at BSU has been driven for several years by the university's dedication to both academic excellence and community service. Finally, the Board of Regents approved its establishment last July 2023.

Construction of the College of Medicine Complex is set to commence in 2024. This facility will boast cutting-edge lecture halls, laboratories, a library, research facilities, and all the essential infrastructure required to deliver an exceptional medical education.

This milestone is among the highlights of the ongoing BSU 107th Foundation Anniversary celebration.
