Benguet State University (BSU) Gender and Development (GAD) Office, led by its Director and Budget Office Supervising Administrative Officer Dr. Estrellita M. Daclan, welcomed the visitors from Mariano Marcos State University (MMSU) for the benchmarking activity on September 29, 2023.

The MMSU GAD Focal Point System (GFPS) staff, led by GFPS Chief Ms. Nataliza L. Llapitan, came to the University to exchange knowledge, best practices, and strategies with BSU on gender and development.

In her discussion, Dr. Daclan highlighted the University's initiatives and activities that support and advocate gender equality for both employees and students. It was followed by a productive discussion and an informative exchange of ideas.

The MMSU team also shared their gender and development programs and other good practices learned from other institutions they visited.

This activity marked a significant step toward furthering and strengthening gender mainstreaming strategies for both institutions.//ADepnag
