Representatives from Partido State University (ParSU) led by their Vice-President for Research, Extension, and Knowledge Management Prof. Patricia M. Candelaria visited Benguet State University (BSU) to learn from the university’s community of practice on Intellectual Property (IP) and technology transfer management.

During the event, the Intellectual Property Rights Office (IPRO) and Project Leader of Regional Intellectual Property and Technology Business Management Project Leader Dr. Cynthia D. Garambas, and the Agri-based Technology Business Incubator/Innovation Center Director and Regional Agri-Aqua Innovation System Enhancement (RAISE) Program Leader Dr. Ruth C. Diego imparted some of their knowledge, learnings, and experiences in the mentioned fields. Queries and clarifications were also entertained, deliberated, and answered.

Afterward, the team had a tour around Strawberry Farm and had a quick walk-through at the university Income Generating Projects such as the Food Processing Center, Bakery, and Marketing Center.
