Lithuanian mentors lecture on international trade and business strategy

Mentors Asta Kyguolienė and Monika Didžgalvytė-Bujauskė from Vytautas Magnus University (VMU) in Lithuania shared their expertise on international trade with students of the College of Home Economics and Technology (CHET) through a whole-day lecture at the CHET Function Hall.

During the morning session, Didžgalvytė-Bujauskė discussed the fundamental principles, theories, and relevance of international trade. According to her, trade is crucial for countries to acquire resources for sustained production, job creation, and development among others.

In the afternoon, Kyguolienė talked about the vital role of customer experience management in increasing loyal customers for any business or service. In her presentation, she identified the methods and tools for understanding customers, the elements of a customer journey, and sample strategic customer experience management by major enterprises and multinational corporations.

The day ended with the two VMU mentors accommodating questions and clarifications from CHET Faculty Members and students.
