Hon. Bertoldo J. Murallon Jr., mayor of the Municipality of Don Victoriano, Province of Misamis Occidental paid a courtesy visit to BSU President Felipe Salaing Comila on March 14, 2024 at the Office of the University President.

The Municipal Mayor together with Don Victoriano LGU officials, Councilor Hon. Robie A. Murallon and Municipal Agriculture Officer Nylvyn T. Tugano, came to the University to discuss possible collaboration with BSU on research activities, particularly on strawberries and other high-yielding crops. They were accompanied by Leila Mary A. Ayban, director of the Horticultural Research and Training Institute (HORTI).

Afterwards, they visited the Tissue Culture Laboratory and HORTI Plant Health Clinic and the research facilities of the Agri-based Technology Business Incubator/Innovation Center and the Northern Philippines Root Crops and Training Center.//EBawayan
