Central Bicol State University of Agriculture (CBSUA) personnel benchmarked Benguet State University to gain insights into the research and undergraduate programs of the College of Teacher Education (CTE) on August 8, 2024. This event was part of CBSUA’s initiative, “Creating Innovations through Building Connections: Benchmarking Journey in Industries and Higher Education Institutions,” which aims to foster collaboration and learn from other institutions.

The CBSUA personnel were welcomed by CTE Dean Divina M. Yango, along with the college chairpersons and staff. This was followed by a learning session, where both universities shared experiences related to research and accreditation processes and challenges. Discussions covered best practices of the programs such as Bachelor of Elementary Education and Bachelor of Secondary Education on admission policies, student internships, research funding and publications, and extension services.

After the exchange of information, the visitors were toured to the University Library and the College of Natural Sciences laboratories.//BTayaban
