BSU prepares for Centennial Celebration in 2016

One activity aimed at mapping the collective memories of former teachers, officials, and alumni of Benguet State University (BSU) has been undertaken in preparation to its 100-year celebration in 2016. The University’s History Committee conducted a workshop participated in by selected retirees, alumni, other concerned student representatives, faculty, and officials on 29-30 May 2014 at the ATI-CAR Multipurpose Hall.

Knowledge of BSU staff and faculty on RA 6713 & GAD enhanced

Themed “Enhancement Orientation on Moral and Behavioral Obligation and Ascendancy in Eliminating Gender Barriers,” the BSU-Gender and Development (GAD) unit organized a one-day seminar for two groups of University admin staff and faculty last 13 and 14 May 2014 at the Riverview Waterpark Resort, Asin, Tuba.

Bridging program gears up ESGP-PA grantees

Aimed at contributing to the poverty alleviation measures, the Office of Student Services (OSS) conducted an orientation seminar as a prelude to the month-long Bridging Program of Expanded Student Grants-in-Aid Program for Poverty Alleviation (ESGP-PA) for all the recipients on May 6 at BSU Gymnasium. This gesture would increase the number of graduates in higher education among poor households and improve the total of those employed in high value jobs. Both the recipients and their parents were required to attend the one-day preliminary activity.
