In support with its students’ development, Benguet State University (BSU) through the Office of Student Affairs and Services (OSS) sent seven University students to participate in the 2nd Make a Difference (MAD) Camp themed “Conquering Leadership Challenges of the 21st Century” held at CWC Convention Hall, CamSur Watersports Complex, Pili, Camarines Sur on Dec. 6-8.
As an early Christmas gift, BSU’s The Mountain Collegian (MC) staff and alumni bonded with the Muslim children through story-telling, games, and songs during their outreach program in Barangay Parapad, Ambiong, La Trinidad as part of their week-long 50th anniversary celebration. The efforts of the College of Nursing in upholding the four-fold functions of Benguet State University specifically in research this time is intensified as they received the recognition of their Nursing Research Cell as a sub-group of the Philippine Nursing Research Society Inc. formally during the 6th National Nursing Research Conference (NNRC) on November 29 and 30, 2013 at the Crown Legacy Hotel in Baguio City.
