BSU Envi Sci prof bags Best Paper Award in int’l conference

Verna Duque-Lacanlale, an Instructor of Benguet State University ( BSU) College of Arts and Sciences (CAS) won the Best Paper Award during the 10th International Conference and Scientific Meeting for her paper titled, “Mapping the Capacity of Flow of Key Provisioning Services: An Approach to Experimental Ecosystem Accounting of Southern Palawan” at Tarlac Agricultural University on October 24-26, 2017.

CAR SUCs Implement Project on Disaster Risk Reduction in Agricultural Farms in CAR

The six State Universities and Colleges in the Cordillera Administrative Region is now implementing the techno-transfer project on Disaster Risk Reduction on Climate Change Impacts on Agricultural Farms in the CAR under the Science and Technology Action Frontline for Emergencies (SAFE) program after its launching in Kalinga State University on October 9, 2017.

This is according to Irene Alcantara, Benguet State University Office of Student Services (BSU – OSS) Guidance Counselor stating the rationale of the advocacy on Mental Health Awareness in the University.

With resounding voices, the University of the Philippines Los Baños (UPLB) Choral Ensemble filled the Benguet State University (BSU) Gymnasium during their performance on October 21, 2017.

As a part of the UPLB Cultural Exchange Department’s line of activities, BSU was tagged to co-sponsor the activity titled “Korotura”.
