BSU researchers are CHED REPUBLICA qualifiers

Three researches from BSU were recognized as qualifiers to the Commission on Higher Education’s Research Paper Publication or REPUBLICA Awards. These researches were among the 53 entries selected out of 300 entries nationwide. The researches are: “Cultivation and Conservation of Traditional Food Crops and Perceptions of Farmers on Biodiversity Loss in the Cordillera Administrative Region” by Belinda A. Tad-awan and Esther Josephine D. Sagalla; “Artifacts Speak: Diversions of Benguet Material Culture” by Stanley F.

BSU complies with good governance requirements

The Inter-Agency Task Force or IATF on the Harmonization of National Government Performance Monitoring, Information and Reporting Systems  assessed that BSU is compliant to good governance requirements for the year 2015. The summary of the final IATF assessment result is as follows: 


Emma Baban-Keith donate costumes to BSU-CCA


Retired Professor of the University, Dr. Emma B. Keith, donated 32,000 pesos worth of Cordillera costumes to BSU-CCA. The donation was received by the Director of BSU-CCA, Professor Stanley Anongos, and the former Director, Dr. Norma Mayos. Dr. Keith served BSU as a faculty member from 1965 to 1998, and the curator of the old BSU museum from 1985 until she retired.//S.Anongos
